Our Story

The Flock came to Maggie in a vision. She was working within the industry and facing changes that were not serving her lifestyle. She saw forward movement in a meditation as a wagon wheel with the energy of a peace sign and heard the phrase “birds of a feather flock together.” Initially, she resisted and strived to adjust herself to remain a fit to what she was used to, and it was in the echoes of the women around her that she could see and hear the need to make a change. The pull toward a collaborative, uplifting, and autonomous business reality became The Flock. The intention was to continue serving the pipeline of clients she had developed, as well as to combine resources and volume with other independent designers so that they could all enjoy the benefits that larger organizations experience. The Flock is a local business that specializes in window coverings directly to consumers and networks within the industry to serve industry professionals and create a collective presence within their specialty.
